Potential New Board Members
Vote is June 4, 2026
Carrie Lipps
Carrie is an artist, educator, youth mentor and a student of wild nature. She enjoys following animal trails, listening to the songs of rivers, and practicing the penny whistle.
She loves to eat and especially to bake with fresh ingredients and is particularly excited for blueberry season to arrive. After several seasons as a farm intern and permaculture student, followed by years in the food industry in restaurants, grocery stores, CSAs, farms and bakeries, Carrie has cultivated a deep appreciation for the joys and bounties of a vibrant local food system.
She is excited to serve as a co-op board member in order to support the expansion of access to healthy, affordable food in our community and to help bring neighbors together around nourishment, collective resilience and interconnection with the more than human world.

Katie Boyer Clark
Katie is a graphic designer and creative consultant.
Her main thrill in life is helping people make Something Special exist in the world, where before there was Nothing at all. That, and going out 15 times a day to see how the apple trees and iris are getting along.
She loves to make useful things beautiful and believes intensely in the transformative power of good design, in the joy of collaboration, and in systems that both nourish and support life for the long term.
When not helping people change the world with their brains, she can be found digging in the garden; organizing something, somewhere; or devouring good books and delicious food.
“I am so inspired by the Blackberry Food Co-op, and what a small group of dedicated people has accomplished in such a brief, action-packed span of time. I am excited to be a part of that.”

-
Dairy and honey from regional dairy farmers and apiaries in the Willamette Valley.
-
Small batch home and bath products from local artisans and small business owners.
Would you like to help?
We are absolutely looking for volunteers for outreach, fundraising, and tabling (chatting with interested community members from a booth at events like the Farmer's Market).
Or do you have an area of expertise that you think might be of help?
We would love to hear from you!
