BFC is now carrying Camas Country Mill Flours!
Local and family owned, Camas Country first opened its doors in 2011. They were the first mill of their kind to operate in the Willamette Valley in nearly eighty years.
I am going to highlight just a couple of varieties here, but there is a whole end-cap of whole grain, artisan, Willamette Valley grown, stone-milled flours to try!

Einkorn wheat is one of the first cultivated cereal grains in history.
According to Camas Country Mill’s website, “Einkorn (Farro Piccolo) has a higher percentage of protein than modern red wheats and is considered more nutritious… higher levels of fat, phosphorus, potassium, pyridoxine, and beta-carotene. Wonderful Flavor and amazing baking qualities!”

Holly’s Dog Biscuit Mix
“Treat your fur friends to homemade dog biscuits! This mix is made with organic tailings flour, streaker barley flakes, and organic flax seed. Follow the directions on the back, or use your own favorite recipe!”
